Spa Side/Or Touch Pad Error Codes!

The Following is a quick reference list of Spa Control Panel error codes.For corrective action and what to do when these codes are displayed, refer to your original manual or try our Download section for the right manual to suit your Spa.

Balboa Error Codes

- pd = Power supply, unit running on battery backup

- OH = Sensors reading 112-118 Degrees

- Flo = Improper flow or pressure switch malfunction

- Cool = Water temp 20 degrees below set point

- ICE = Potential freeze condition has been detected

- Sn1 = Hi-limit sensor malfunction

- Sn3 = Temp sensor malfunction

- ILOC = Interlock failure - possible pump or ozone spike

Sundance Error Codes:

- ILOC = Interlock failure - possible pump or ozone spike

- FLO = Pressure switch malfunction

- Hold = Panel buttons pressed to many times to quickly

- HOT = PCB temperature above acceptable limit - air blower on

- ICE = Potential freeze condition

- Pnl = Communication between PCB and panel interrupted

- Sn1 = Hi-limit sensor failure

- Sn3 = Temp sensor failure

Gecko Error Codes:

- FLO = Pressure switch failure, switch open

- FLC = Pressure switch failure, switch closed

- Prr = Temp sensor failure

- Prh = Hi-limit sensor failure

- HL = Sensor measuring 119 degrees

- FrE = Possible freeze condition detected Aqua Set Style
Spa Side Receptacle

Current Gecko Controllers, Flashing Three Dots - - -

For current Gecko packs, Three dots flashing under temp display means one of the five above top problems have occured ie: flo,flc,prr,hl,prh. In 95% of cases it is Flo or Flc!!! due to pressure switch related issues

Hurricane Error Codes:

- PS = Flow or pressure switch failure

- SH = Shorted sensor

- OP = Open Sensor Degrees

- LO = Temp below 60 degrees - freeze

- HL = Temp above 118 degrees
Hercules Error Codes

- OH = Spa temp exceeds acceptable limits

- FLO = Flow problem

- ICE = Freeze condition detected

- SN1 = Hi-limit sensor failure

- SN2 = Temp sensor failure

Brett Aqualine Error Codes:

- OH = Temp exceeds 118 degrees

- Fr = Freeze condition - temp below 40 degrees

- FL = Pressure switch failure

- EO = Shorted temp sensor

- E1 = Open temp sensor

- E2 = Shorted hi-limit sensor

- E3 = Open hi-limit sensor

- E4 = Shorted flow switch

- E7 = Improper electrical connection

Vita Error Codes:

- HiLi = Water temp over acceptable limit

- BJ2P = Pump/Blower purge - normal condition

- FP = Freeze protect-temp under acceptable condition

- SS=0;SS=S;LS=O;LS=S = Multiple causes; open sensors, bad connection to panel, improper voltage, etc.

Spa Quip Error Codes:

For Models: Spa power 500,500A,600,750A&B,

- err 1 (H20) = Prime Failed

- err 2 Is not used.

- err 3 = Stuck Button

- err 4 = No Water Sensor

- err 5 = Overtemperature

- err 6 = Thermal Cut Out Tripped

- err 7 = Stuck Relay

- err 8 = No Temperature Data

For Models: Digital 1000,2000,

- 01 = Stuck Button

- 02 = No Controller Data

- 03 = Temperature Sensor

- 04 = Water Sensor

- 05 = Spa Over Temperature

- 06 = Heater Thermal Cut Out

- 07 = Stuck Heater Relay

- 08 Not Used

- 09 = Water Prime Failed

For Models: SQ1500 Series,Pulsar Series

- Indicator lights flashing from red to green = Water prime failed and possible heater reset button tripped.

- Indicator lights both flashing red = Internal fault service required.
